Todd has more than 18 years of consulting experience on environmental impact assessments. He focuses on developing and applying rigorous scientific methods and decision-making techniques to the resolve natural resource management issues and environmental conflicts. Todd has coordinated the fisheries components of numerous impact assessments, and developed management plans and guidelines for industry and government relating to a wide range of developments.
Todd has also consulted on the assessment, permitting, construction, and management of numerous projects, including hydropower, oil and gas pipelines, and mining-related work. He has worked on a number of water management and fisheries conservation projects and is currently a member of the Freshwater Fishes Sub-committee of COSEWIC (Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada), an independent, federally funded science body responsible for reviewing the status of wildlife species in Canada.
