Ian is an experienced project manager whose unrelenting client focus has made Ecofish the most results orientated and forward thinking company in the environmental industry today. In his 15 year-long environmental career, Ian worked first as a fisheries technician in the Central Coast for government, giving him a solid understanding of fish habitats and regulatory requirements. Today, as manager of Ecofish’s project operations, Ian optimizes project and operational performance and ensures client needs are fully addressed. Ian has built lasting relationships with clients in First Nations and major corporations. Ian was brought up in the coastal resource economy of Campbell River, to which he credits his awareness and balanced perspective on environmental issues. His approach has always been to first understand the client needs, then work diligently to represent their interests, while keeping environmental sustainability in mind. He is committed to keeping our often-complex projects on track and on budget, including managing the planning and execution of field logistics and staff, scheduling, tracking deliverables, and reporting.
